Judi A. Sponsel, Vice President of Operations
Ms. Judi A. Sponsel is Vice President of America’s Capital Partners overseeing Property Management and Operations. Ms. Sponsel has more than 32 years of Commercial Real Estate operation experience in multiple markets as well as pre-construction consultation and operating strategy development.
Ms. Sponsel is a graduate of Indiana College of Business and earned her Real Property Administrator Designation from the Building Owners and Manager’s Institute in 1991. She previously served on the advisory board for Georgia Institute of Technology working to develop the now successful graduate program for construction and property management. She is also a licensed real estate salesperson in the states of Indiana and Georgia. She has managed multi-state portfolios successfully in excess of 5 million square feet.
Ms. Sponsel began her real estate career with the Colliers Affiliate, F. C. Tucker Company in Indianapolis where she worked for 14 years. She left F. C. Tucker Company to fill the role of General Manager with Compass Management and Leasing for a 1.2 million square foot mixed-use flagship property in downtown Indianapolis until 1998. Judi relocated to Atlanta, Georgia after being offered the General Manager’s position by her corporate tenant, Simon Property Group, for a large Class A Property in the Buckhead sub-market. She has continued to advance her career in Atlanta with Ronus Properties, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Behringer Harvard, most recently serving as the Regional Portfolio Director for a group of Class A Office and Medical Buildings in Atlanta and Florida.
Ms. Sponsel is an active member of BOMA Georgia and has served on the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, and is a Past President (2012) of this 1,100 member organization. She is currently serving as the inaugural Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the newly formed BOMA Georgia Foundation. She was named one of the top 100 “Who’s Who in Commercial Real Estate” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle in 2012.
